In this Use Case we will explore how you can use Plesk to create and manage a web hosting business, including hosting websites, adding client accounts, and managing subscriptions and service plans.

Use Case: Web Hosting
Plesk allows you to easily host and manage your own websites through a web interface. Plesk is also designed to allow you to offer web hosting services to customers. You can create Service Plans and manage subscriptions, and create customer records and individual customer portals.
Scenario 1: Create Service Plans
Your customers will subscribe to one of your Service Plans, for which they will be billed on a monthly basis. You can also create add-on plans for additional services and resources.
To create and manage Service Plans, click Hosting Services > Service Plans.
From this section you can create new Service Plans, edit a Service Plan, add an Add-On service, and change the plan's configuration. You can find more information about Hosting Plans in the official Plesk documentation.
Plesk includes a few Service Plans by default. The example Default Domain hosting plan includes 100 GB/month in traffic, and 10 GB disk space. You can view and change all the available parameters by clicking on the hosting plan.
Scenario 2: Create a Customer Account
When a new customer wishes to host a website on the Plesk server, you will need to create a customer account and set up a subscription for them, for their desired Service Plan.
To create and manage customer accounts, click Hosting Services > Customers.
